Selected 5th in the 2019 draft, Riley Greene is well on his way to becoming an elite big leaguer. His 2022 major league debut was delayed after he fouled a pitch from Gerrit Cole off of his right foot during spring training. But, since stepping on the field at Comerica Park on June 18, 2022, he has become the stalwart hitter of the Tigers offense. Defensively, his dynamic playmaking ability in centerfield regularly lit up the highlight reels with incredible diving catches. After being named an American League All-Star in 2024, the expectations are high for the cornerstone of the Detroit Tigers offense.
